A dive into the urban experience of the cocaine 80’s epidemic and the impact that was made by the arrival of cocaine in the black congregation and household of the generation X. This series will touch on some of the common themes unaddressed during this era that need resurfacing in order to attempt to cure or at least alleviate some of the lingering ills and traumas caused systematically and that we still see the residual effects of today’s youth and our culture. Through conversation and self placement, if self-identifiable, I attempt to convey the absence of care in the results of their actions. The arrival would change everything.
