ARTIST STATEMENT
I reinvigorate surfaces into visual playgrounds of endless contemplation. My work explores the illusions of space, time and dilemma. Through color, patterns, and layering I celebrate the concrete and abstract qualities of life that go unnoticed, yet shape and contextualize our experiences I question identity, function, forgetting remembering, and discovery.
Like rivers, sentiments flow through me: joy, pain, fear circulate randomly within. They create challenges, realizations, and ultimately growth. As these emotional pas-sages materialize on canvas, I know that I am evolving..
